FAQs

Terrain?

The wedding will take place in two Arizona desert backyards. There will be cactus, gravel pathways, and uneven footing. While the venue will be well-lit, we recommend that guests refrain from stiletto heels, and instead try a wedge. Cowboy boots or any other fine leather shoes will always be appropriate at a Tucson Wedding.

Weather?

Tucson is a famously dry and hot place, although in November it cools significantly and highs are in the high 70s to low 80’s, with lows in the 40s overnight. The wedding will take place at sunset, and while there will be heating lamps, a fire, and plenty of activities to help keep you warm, we recommend that guests bring a light jacket or coat if they should get chilly. However, for those adventuring out into the Tucson days, we always recommend bringing extra water and always wear sunscreen.

Attire?

Our wedding is a semi-formal garden party, held outdoors. Think cocktail attire with a touch of garden charm. No jeans, please!

Parking?

We encourage carpooling or Uber as the venue is in a residential neighborhood. Parking will be available at the base of Kanmar Place in the lower business complex.

Accommodation?

The Tucson Airport is approximately 30 minutes from the venue and accommodations. We recommend that guests stay at the Westward Look hotel and spa, as it offers a wonderful Tucson charm and is minutes from the venue. For a more economical option, guests could rent a room at La Posada Inn, which is also only minutes away. There are many other hotels and airbnbs in the area, but to really feel the authentic Tucson charm, we recommend that guests stay at the Westward Look.

Open Bar?

Yes, we will have a margarita cocktail hour immediately following the wedding and preceding the dinner. A full bar will be open throughout the evening, with wine, beer, and mixed drinks.
